Car Club Climb.

The Wairoa Car Club held their hill climb at Powdrell's station recently. Some fast times, including that of Robbie Thompson, were recorded. He set a new hill record of 54 seconds in his Hillman Imp. Several members of the Gisborne Club went down, two of whom are seen in action below.

Geoff Logan took second fastest time of the day with 54.5 seconds, which won his class and also broke the old class record for this run.
