This is a model of the Archery Club's new building which will cost $85,000. It is to be built on the present site of the club in Disraeli Street and will take seven months to construct. The building will have almost 14,000 square feet of floor space and was designed by Don Miller, now of Auckland. Builders are Durney Construction of Napier and Gisborne.

The Australian submarine, the HMAS Otway, was a recent visitor to this city. She came on a three-day visit and is seen here tied up at the wharf.

"Operation Sunshine" was repeated again this year when 3,500lbs of lemons were flown down to Invercargill for distribution to old folks' homes and charitable places. Appeals over Radio 2ZG for the lemons resulted in this amount being given by the public. These were then boxed and freighted down by N.A.C. From left: Mr N. Harwood (2ZG), the Mayor Mr H. H.
