Taking The Eye

Taking the eye of some of Rugby's top administrators at the Oval on the morning of Saturday, July 19, were these young players of the Elgin and Riverdale teams. An exciting game which resulted in a six-all draw was watched by Messrs Bill Sparkes, convenor of the Maori selectors, Eric Pinker, president N.Z.R.F.U., and Reg Charlton, a Maori selector.
