Mr and Mrs K. A. Scott, of Score Rd., who left Gisborne recently on an extended tour. After a month in New Zealand, they will leave on the Wanganella December 1 for Australia, where they will spend about 10 days before sailing far the U.K. and the Continent on M.T. Themis. They expect to spend nine months in Europe.

Three sisters were reunited after 28 years last month when Mrs G. M. Clifton, of Darlington, England, arrived in Gisborne to stay for an extended period with Mrs A. M. Hodgson, Wainui Beach Store . Also present was Mrs M. A. Wilson, of Tamarau, Gisborne, another sister for whom the break was 32 years long, while for Mrs A. Hawkins, of Ballance Street, who left Darlington 35 years ago, the occasion was a reunion with girlhood friends after all that time. Cutting the cake in a hospital room celebrated the golden wedding of Mr and Mrs James Logan Peach, of Puha R.D., Gisborne. Couple were married on October 2, 1905, at Dundee, Scotland. Bride was Eliza Rhodes, Lincolnshire, and groom's address then was Queensland, Australia.
