The Registered Nurses' Association has formed a group to raise funds for Nursing Education Research Foundation. Eight members of this group met recently to start a progressive chain of morning teas, wine and cheese evenings and other social activities to raise money. Ross Gregory has transferred to the Mangakino High School where he will be Head of Science. He leaves from Lytton High. He is pictured with his wife Mary and family, from left, Bryne, Joanna, Leiset, Michelle and Anthony. Ross and Mary were president and secretary respectively of the Good Samaritan Society.

After being with the company for 36 years delivering bread Geoff East retired from Findlay's Bakery. He was on the Ormond run until the war, after which he was in town. From left are Messrs Doug Findlay, Jim Bennie (who retired from Findlay's in 1965 after 40 years' service), Geoff East, Norrie Mills of Charlie Mills and Sons Bakery, and Walter Findlay, snr., at a presentation held at the bakery.

Ernie Horne has recently acquired one of the latest in musical instruments. It is an Italian made electronic organ and almost sounds like a full orchestra. Its advantages include 120 bass, vibrato and reverbo units and it has over 102 tones.
