Jaycee Conference

The twenty-second Jaycee regional conference was held in Gisborne on May 9 and 10, with delegates attending from as far afield as Dannevirke.

The function opened on the Friday night with the official welcomes and speeches, and the final of the Jack Grant Memorial Debate. Business sessions on the Saturday were followed by a dinner and cabaret in the evening.

The afternoon session saw a successful bid by Hastings for the 1970 regional conference. Their little act was almost too real. Jaycees who enjoyed themselves at the dinner and cabaret were,

The R.S.A. Tin Hat Club's Grenadiers provided great entertainment, particularly for visitors.
