Electricity

The Poverty Bay Electric Power Board held a week-long exhibition recently in the Power Board demonstration room to give the public a better knowledge of electrical matters. Emphasis in the display was placed on safety measures, storage heating, and the uses of electricity. Also participating in the display were the N.Z. Institute of Electricians and the Electrical Contractors' Federation.

Organisers of the high voltage equipment were Messrs Ron Turbitt (engineer's assistant), Graeme Cullings (assistant engineer), and Alan Bosher (distribution officer).
