Young Nick Chosen

From more than 50 entries David Garrett was chosen as the boy to portray Young Nick during the Cook bi-centennial year. The competition was run by the Bank of New South Wales and the N.Z.B.C.

David made his first public appearance in his role as Cook's cabin boy at the Wool Week exhibition where he was presented with his prizes.
