Riverside Easter Bowls

Twenty-eight teams competed in the Annual Riverside Easter Tournament.

The oldest player in the tournament was Mrs Ann Featherstonehaugh of Raglan.

×
     

The winning team was from Riverside. The players are Mesdames Barbara McFarlane, Sadie Lloyd, Alice Hamblyn (skip), and Sally Meyrick.

The runner-up team in the tournament for the third time was the Wairere team from Napier. They are Mesdames R. Salt (skip), T. Oliver, J. Thodsen, and O. Angove.

Mrs Thora Farrell of Huntly. Mrs Farrell is a former Gisborne person and also a former president of the Riverside Bowling Club.
