The Big Roar

Hundreds of Lions invaded the city recently for the Lions International (District 202B) Convention. Business and social activities occupied the convention weekend.

The Leopardettes marching team led the parade of 85 flags through Gladstone Road. This was the start of the convention, on the Friday night.

Key members enjoyed a special breakfast at the Chalet Rendezvous over the weekend. And it was a most memorable occasion with Gisborne Lions acting as waiters and hosts.
