Ship's Visit

The navy supply ship Endeavour, recently adopted by the Cook County Council, paid a visit to Gisborne.

Welcoming functions were held for the company, A day at sea in the ship was provided for County members.

Prior to the Endeavour's visit, the former Cook County chairman, Mr W. V. Clarke, and his family went to Auckland. While there they attended the ship's annual dance.
