Recently arrived from Christchurch are Ian and Gwen Duske (pronounced Dusky) with their son Grant and daughter Jane. Ian has taken over the funeral furnishing business of Cochrane and Hall in Gladstone Road, and this will in future be known as I.T. Duske's Gisborne Funeral Services.

Anthony Reid, son of Mrs P. M. Fletcher, 146 Birrell Street, is another graduate who was capped this year. He obtained his Diploma of Sheepfarming at Massey University.

From Mrs V. C. Ivess comes this picture of Brian and Nell Malone who are up in Western Samoa for two years, where Brian is in charge of Avele College at Apia. They are seen here with the prefects of the college.

Ian Tuck, son of Mr and Mrs D. L. G. Tuck, formerly of Tolaga Bay, and now of Kaiwaka, completed his Bachelor of Science Degree, and graduated this year. He is now working as farm advisor, specialising in farm management economics, for the Department of Agriculture and is based in Hamilton.

Constable Keith Rowe is now stationed at Ashhurst. Keith and his family were at Ruatoria for five years before going to Ashhurst last March and prior to that were in Gisborne for some years From left, at back, Kevin, Ian and Michael, and, in front, Peter, Mrs Rowe, Glenn, Dean and Keith. Keith had the misfortune to suffer a broken right wrist recently. (Lloyd Cornish).
