Fire! Fire!

The first of the proposed annual competitions between the East Coast Area Fire Brigades was held at Tolaga Bay recently. Teams from Wairoa, Te Karaka, Gisborne, Tolaga Bay, Tokomary Bay, Ruatoria and Tikitiki took part.

The events became quite exciting for the crowd when they realised one or two seconds only meant the difference between winning or losing over the day's events.
