Korker Kake For Kiddies

Thirty-five pounds of scrumptious cake, beautifully iced, was presented to the kiddies of the Heni Materoa Home recently. The cake was the one which was made to celebrate Hallenstein's 85th year in business. A competition was run to see who could guess the weight of the cake and after the winner was known the cake was taken to the children by Mr Graeme Day, Hallenstein's manager. He cut the cake there and then and everyone agreed it was just the best. The winner of the competition, pictured in last month's issue was Alan Morris of Te Karaka.
