"Can We Start Now?"

This is certainly a fitting caption for this shot which has captured well the expression on the child's face. From Mrs Cronin, 400 Childers Road, comes this picture of her three-year-old daughter who kept asking this question at a recent party.

One of the largest broad beans ever grown must surely be the one found in the Robson garden at 10 Lytton Road. Lineke Robson holds the monster specimen which was 15 inches long and varied in width from one to one-and-a-half inches wide.
