McGlashen Fashion
Once again the McGlashen Swimming Club staged a summer fashion parade to aid their club funds. The clothes were sponsored by Melbourne Cash Ltd. and the shoes by McMillan's Shoe Store.
Margaret Haig from Auckland modelling a pink feminine creation. Caroline Pilbrow in a waisted cotton frock. Keitha MacDougall and Heath Johnstone in tennis wear. Trudy Steele in a nylon quilted brunch coat.
Organisers were Mesdames Beverly Powell (treasurer), Myrtle Hyland and Mary Harris (both social committee members). Two organisers not pictured were Mrs Jocelyn Knox and Bev Davey.
