Guides enjoyed several busy and entertaining weeks before their school holidays.
Guides from Turanganui and Elgin Guide Companies celebrated Guides national night by dressing as a Guide of another country.

The Guides of the Waimata district held a Mexican dinner recently. Adrienne Flavell made a charming Mexican boy. Jill Fitzmaurice came as a happy young Mexican girl. Kathy Hill could hardly see from under her hat. Janet Solvander decided to dress as an elegant senorita.
