The annual general meeting of the Crippled Children Society was held on July 31. A return visit was made by world famous billiards player Horace Lindrum to Gisborne for a couple of nights recently. He played against seven of the city's top players in a series of games at the Regent Billiards Room. From left are Dick Cook (well known boxing personality), George Munro, Haddo Ngaira, Larry Nicholson, Arthur Bartlett, Horace Lindrum, Warwick Davy and Ernie De Suza.
