Outstanding Play

Outstanding acting and brilliant costuming were special features of the performance of "The Barretts of Wimpole Street" by the students of Edmund Campion and St. Mary's Colleges. Staged in the Girls' High School Assembly Hall the cast played before packed audiences.

In another dramatic scene, Christine Wilkins as another of the Barrett sisters is surrounded by six of her concerned brothers and these are played by, from left, Peter McFadyen, Bernard Adamson, Eugene Rigney, Terry Gardiner, Patrick Cowan and Barry Hogan.
