This hill billy band was snapped while providing entertainment for the old folk at the Memorial Home, Mangapapa. Their visits are keenly looked forward to by the inmates. Left to right the players are w. Gardiner Jr W. Gardiner Sr., J. Prentice, T. Gardiner, and E. Nicolson. Mr Gardiner senior recently took over the management of the Waikanae Beach kiosk.
