Latest addition to the professional staff of the Wairoa Public Hospital is Miss Jean Knowleson, of Australia. Miss Knowleson, a trained radiographer, will work at Wairoa with senior radiographer C. McKay.

Last month Mr John Ford, a visiting cubmaster from Southern Rhodesia (at present staying in Te Hapara), showed some excellent colour movies on scouting to the 1st Wairoa Troop. Mr Ford, who intends continuing his travels through N.Z., Canada, Australia and the U.S.A. before attending the 1957 jamboree in England, is pictured showing the workings of his projector to Miss J. McGregor, of Gisborne, A. D. C. cubs for the East Coast district.
