A Happy, Happy Show

A happy show, full of fun and bright music, and grand family entertainment is "Salad Days" which begins a six-day season in the War Memorial Hall on August 5.

Produced by Jack Roderick for the Operatic Society, the story of "Salad Days" is, briefly, of two undergraduates who are job hunting but whose worries are ended when a benign tramp makes them care-takers of his magic piano.

Principals in the cast are Gareth Hannah and Winnifred Morice (at back of piano), who are pictured here with Doreen Harrison, and Hugh Bramwell as the tramp.

Plenty of comedy is provided by Rex and Owen Hickman.

Garth Sweeny and Joy Moore have fun with the magic piano.

Jack Mackie, Owen Hickman and Marge Hickman provide more comedy.
