Scintillating Rugby

More than 6,000 spectators attended Rugby Park to witness one of the most open games of rugby ever seen in Gisborne. The match was All Japan versus Poverty Bay and the crowd delighted in the fast, free-flowing game which ended in a win for the touring team by 23 points to 15.
