30th Squadron Reunion
The annual reunion of the 30th Squadron was held over the Queen's Birthday weekend. A dinner on the Saturday night, a parade on the Sunday morning and a get-together on the Sunday evening constituted the programme for the weekend.
At the Saturday evening dinner, officials present were Murray Upton (treasurer), Squadron Leader Noel James of Te Puke, Ian Walton (president), and Squadron Leader Max Saunders, R.N.Z.A.F. , who was guest speaker for the evening.
Messrs Ray Hore, Harry Baker (wearing an original tie of the 30th Squadron), Ron Wakelin and Ted Williams.
Messrs Tom King (hon. secretary), Colin Smith, Les Gilmour and Bernie Reilly.
