Coming of Age

Competition Winners.

The Variety Bookshop, in conjunction with the Classic Models, recently held a model making competition. The winners were judged on neatness, best modelling details and painting. Prizes were models from the Classic range. First in the 12 to 16 year group was Richard Horridge (above left), of Manutuke, while second was Kenneth MacRae (above right) of 388 Aberdeen Road. Yvonne O'Dea, 70 Ormond Road (below left), was first in the under 12 section, while Bruce Hall of Waerenga-o-kuri (below right) was second.
