Delayed Report from the coast

The hurricane-force winds which did so mucn damage as reported in last month's issue also had a disastrous effect on buildings in Tolaga Bay and surrounding districts. This delayed report and pictures came through after our last issue went to press and shows some of the severe damage done in the area.

The meeting house at Mangatuna collapsed, doing away with an early morning venue for the usual Anzac Day gathering.
