Mangapapa Gala

A very successful and profitable gala day was held at the Mangapapa school recently, so much so that profits for the whole day should well exceed the $900 mark.

A great variety of stalls and entertainments was available and patrons were quick to take advantage of all on offer.

Among the first to take a ride on the pony, led by Jackie Single was Maurice Christie.

The hot dog stand did brisk business.

Ten minutes after it opened,the cake stall looked like this - and was $90 to the good.
