Dawn Andrew and Marilyn George had quite a time at the Peggy De Costa florist shop making up the garland for the Horse of the Year before the event. The colourful result of their effort can be seen on the cover of this issue.

An ominous looking parcel passed through the N.A.C. office recently. In charge of freight officer Val Hay, the parcel has warnings which read Fragile--Do Not Drop'. Plutonium. In case of droppage leap 30 miles to clear blast. The parcel came on the first of April.

This house, being shifted from Roebuck Road to Fergusson Drive, needed quite a lot of manoeuvreing on its journey when shifted by Monk Bros. It is seen here as it travels, taking up the full width of Aberdeen Road.
