Girls' Life Brigade. Completing three flower arrangements each, in the course of the Pioneer Venture, are Dawn Andrew, Betty Frame, Ann Bullen, Kathleen Parkin and Jeanette Sinton. The Pioneer Venture, a project which takes from three to four years to complete, and is modelled along the lines of the Duke of Edinburgh Award, includes service of 25 hours each to church, home and community.
