The new hospital chapel is well on the way to completion with foundation and roof now finished. The 1,200 sq ft interdenominational chapel is built on the A frame principle and is 40 feet long, 30 feet wide and 30 feet high Costing an estimated $12,000, the building is being erected by hospital carpenters.

The new grandstand in the Harry Barker Reserve is now functional and affords a good view of the grounds.
