Wonderful Waikanae
A great beach for a family outing is Waikanae with its handy location to town and all the suburbs. Taken from the top of the Midway Surf Club's pavilion, this view looks towards Kaiti Hill.

The East Coast yachting championships have come and gone once again and this shot shows the start of the final race in the Finn class event.
