They marched with the 8th Army....A picture taken at the Maori Battalion reunion at Rotorua a few years ago. This year's reunion is to be held in North Auckland in August or September at Whangarei. Home vacated....To meet the cost of this Maori-Affairs-built home at Hauiti, owners Mr and Mrs Julian Thompson have to find employment elsewhere. Julian is at the Wellington Harbour and his wife Mona is on the staff of the Porirua Mental hospital. They are living at Porirua East.
