The new board for 1968 was elected in November and those voted into office for the following year are pictured above. They are, at back, Ken Carpendale, Russell Searle, Les Castles, Rex Lucinsky, Kerry Keane, John Carson, and, in front, Trevor Caley, Don Thorburn, Neil Russell (v-pres), John Jennings (pres), Mike Brittenden (v-pres), and Keith Thomas.

A car trial was held by the organisation early in November. Members competed for a handsome spotlight donated by Lucas's and this was won by Ray Gowland. The course was over town and country and driving commenced at 7.45pm.
