Victoria League Conference

The 16th New Zealand Conference of the Victoria League for Commonwealth Friendship was held in Gisborne. Present were the Central Committee Representative, Mrs V. Boulnois, London, and the Chairman of the National Committee, Mr B. V. Cooksley, M.M., O.B.E., at the conference which was opened by His Excellency the High Commissioner for Canada, Mr R. M. Macdonnell.
