Venus (Lovey) Taihuka is leaving Gisborne on transfer to the Chief Post Office, Auckland, as a telegram telephonist. She was formerly a shorthand typist with the local engineering department. A member of the Waihirere Maori Club for 15 years (she joined at the age of five), Lovey is one of the most versatile performers to pass through the club, and has made over 300 appearances with it.

Don and Jan Norman, and daughters (from left) Tracey, Susan, Wendy, and Kim, of 400 Childers Road, are moving to Wanganui where Don will take the position of committee clerk with the Wanganui City Council. Formerly rates clerk with the Gisborne City Council, Don was also secretary of the P.B. Rugby Union and a member of the Amateur Athletics Assn.

New manager of the Cook Hospital's Memorial Home, in upper Ormond Road, is Gerald Wynne, a former member of the staff of the Child Welfare department in Tauranga, who has come to Gisborne with his wife Gaye, and family, Natalie, Deborah, and Erin.

Vic and Betty McKee, and youngest son Stephen, have come from Hamilton. Vic is senior supervisor of the local P.O. postal branch.
