Free Tickets

A mad scramble on a wet morning resulted in kiddies from all directions turning up with their pets at Ashton's circus thereby earning themselves free tickets for the show.

What they didn't bargain for was a pet's-eye view of Graham Bolton from 2ZG being introduced to a lion by trainer Walter Petersen.

However, the lion wasn't very friendly as it got off its chair only once (which was enough!).

Among those who brought their pets to the big top were Aileen Humphris (left) and Chloe, and Roger Humphris (right) and Ilya, a guinea pig.
