Good Response To I.H.C. Appeal
The result of the appeal for funds for the Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society brought in a grand total of £2,556.10.2d.
The response has been most gratifying to members and friends of the society who put a lot of hard work and organisation into the appeal.
However, funds will always be needed and gifts, bequests or donations to the society are always welcome.
Opening collectors' bags and sorting the contents are treasurer Paddy Pilbrow, Selby Barnao, Mrs Nora Steed, Ray Ballard and Norm Davies.
Counting up the 20 cent pieces is Ces .Mills.
