Orphans Away
The Gisborne Orphans Club was away to a good start for the season with the installation of their new chief, and some items of a standard which promises to make 1967 a good year.
Members turned up in force to watch past president Keith Stichbury invest new president Fred Jones with the chain of office.
Owen Potter, Matamata, vice-president of N.Z. kindred clubs, attended the gathering.
New members are Brian Lissant-Clayton, Robert Hopps, Peter Corn, Ernest Hjorring and John Bunyan.
The new committee is Maurie Cox, John Speakman, Tom Berry, Ernie Horne, Harold Hackett and Graham Bolton (backstage) .
