At a ceremony held at Te Karaka the wonderful gift of a resuscitator to the residents of Waikohu County was announced. The gift, donated anonymously by a resident of the district, will be of great benefit in an emergency. Demonstrated here by Tom Harvey, the resuscitator will be kept in the custody of the St. John Association and will be used by them and the fire brigade. Demonstrations on the use of the appliance will also be given throughout the district.
