Skaters Supreme

Spectators and skating club members alike were treated to the best of freestyle roller-skating when five times world champion Karl-Heinz Losch and Dieter Fingerle and Uta Keller, the 1965 and 1966 world champion pair, performed in Gisborne recently.

They were strongly supported by local club members who have done extremely well lately.

An added attraction was the appearance of New Zealand gold medallist Carolyn Rumsey of Palmerston North.
