Boys' High Athletics

Three new records of note were made at the Boys' High School Athletic sports held on the Rectory grounds.

Jamie Ogilvie recorded 10secs for the senior 100yds knocking .2sec off A. Wallis's record which has stood since 1925.

John Jamieson also broke the junior 100yds down to 11.1secs, and Paul Whaanga added 11ft 11"ins to the intermediate javelin throw to make a new distance of 145ft.
