Polo Thrills

Although not equal to the teamwork of the visitors the Poverty Bay side acquitted themselves well, particularly in defence, when they were defeated seven to three by Queensland in the match at Bushmere.

Strong hitting of the ball was a feature of the Queensland team's performance and some exciting play was seen as the game swept up and down the field.
