A wedding of interest to Gisborne took place in Somerset, England, recently, when Roslyn Dale, only child of Mr and Mrs William Carruthers, of Rotorua, was married to Michael David Squibbs, M.I.N., only son of Mr and Mrs Antony Squibbs, Bridgwater, England.
The bride was escorted by her cousin, Dr. Lindsay Poole, son of Mrs H. J. Poole, of Aberdeen Road, Gisborne, seen below with the bride. The matron of honour, at left in the larger picture, was Mrs Michael Hughes, formerly Miss Anna Muir, of Gisborne. Other attendants were Miss Caroline Squibbs, Mr John Squibbs and Christine and Valerie Peace.
