Laughter Galore
Due for presentation on the 21st, 22nd and 24th of this month is Unity Theatre's production of the hilarious comedy "Simon and Laura" by Alan Melville.
Produced by Jack Roderick, this witty and telling comedy is the story of the trials and tribulations of producing a TV programme, and shows just what can happen behind the scenes.
Simon is played by Kevin Cull, and Laura by Lois Ballantyne.
Giving solid performances are Alan Jacques as the butler and Margaret Crawforth as the housekeeper.
Taking a break from the strain of producing a TV show are the technical staff, Barney (Kevin Low), and Janet Honeyman (Mary Loftus), and the producer, David Prentice (Michael Parkinson).
Winton Holmes ably handles the part of Timothy, a precocious child actor.
