Cubmasters' Training Course

A preliminary training course for cubmasters in the Waiapu Area (East Coast-Gisborne - Northern Hawkes Bay) was attended by 18 candidates when it was staged in the Scout Hall, Carnarvon Street, over a recent weekend.

The first stage of a three-part course required for fully qualified cubmasters, it was conducted by Gisborne's member of the Dominion training team, Miss June McGregor, assisted by Mesdames Jean Waugh, Doris Preddey, and Edith Scholes.
