Youthful Swimmers

The increasing high standard of swimming being attained by Gisborne's younger generation was evident when we visited the Manutuke School infant department's swimming sports at the end of last year.

The youngsters, whose ages ranged from five to eight years, showed amazing confidence and ability in the water.

After the sports the children were presented with certificates showing the various standards they had reached, by a member of the school committee, Mrs John Clarke, on behalf of the headmaster, Mr R. C. Hepburn.
