Motorcycle Trial

A motorcycle trial, which was conducted as a test case with the view to forming a local club, was contested by 18 entries when it was staged last month.

Leaving from Waikanae Beach, the trialists covered 139 miles of both rough country roads and smooth highways, and were marked by officials at check-points along the route.

Winner of the trial, which was organised by Messrs Noel Third and Max Barrington, was Denis Te Aho. (Pictures above and below by Bernie Bliss).
