The second member of one family to gain a Queen's Guide award was presented with her badge at a recent meeting of the Aranga Girl Guide Company, The guide was Sharon James, who with her sister Lynora are the first family double in Gisborne to hold the badge.

Another presentation saw Margaret Prentice become the sixth current member of the Company to gain an All-round Cord.

At the annual general meeting of the Gisborne Girl Guide Association, retiring District Commissioner Mrs E. W. Johnson was presented with a bouquet.
