League Of Mothers

A Poverty Bay Provincial Council of the League of Mothers was officially formed at a meeting in Gisborne last month.

Formerly under the jurisdiction of Auckland, the combined Gisborne branches of the League were sufficiently strong in numbers to form their own province.

The pictures on these pages were taken at a luncheon function in St. Andrew's Hall, attended by about 130 members. Among those present was the president of the New Zealand League, Mrs T. H. Jagusch, of New Plymouth.
