Family Re-Union. Members of the Ansell family, who were all born and bred in Gisborne, assembled for the first time in 14 years for their mother's 80th birthday, celebrated in Napier. Mrs Ansell sen, came to Gisborne from England in 1904, and lived here until going to Hastings in 1946. Members of the family are, from left: Mary Coleman (Auckland), Lil Graham (Hastings), Nell Kemp (Wairoa), Albert (Napier), Mrs Ansell sen, Jim (Napier), Joyce Morris (Wellington), and Jean Brown (Wairoa).
